Exploring Metals Solutions: Shuttle Changeover

Signode’s MK1 CoilMaster® protective wrapping system wraps coils to protect them during storage and transit. This machine is a through the eye wrapping system for wide width metal coils. Users can apply a single or double layer of wrap around the coil. This provides improved resistance against moisture and overall integrity of the load.
The shuttle changeover is an add-on available for the machine. The mechanism is designed to replace the empty shuttle automatically with a shuttle loaded with new wrapping material. Providing multiple shuttles in changeover mechanism reduces frequency of wrapping material loading, allowing for a higher uptime and minimizing engineer interference.
