Signode Thailand Supports Digital Inclusion Through IT Donation
Thailand • June 01, 2026
On 27 May 2026, Signode Thailand carried out an initiative by donating unused laptops and desktop computers to the Father Ray Foundation in Pattaya, Thailand.
This initiative reflects Signode’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and promoting equal access to education and technology. The donated devices, previously used within the organiza-tion, will be refurbished by the Foundation and distributed to children and individuals in need. By extending the lifecycle of this equipment, Signode aims to help bridge the digital divide and create new opportunities for learning, skills development, and future employment.
Supporting Education and Opportunity
The Father Ray Foundation is a well-established charitable organization founded in 1974 by Father Raymond Brennan. Based in Pattaya, the Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivi-leged children, people with disabilities, and disadvantaged communities across Thailand.
Through a wide range of programs, including children’s homes, specialized schools, vocational training centers, and rehabilitation services. The Foundation focuses on education and empowerment. Its initiatives are designed to equip individuals with the skills and confidence needed to live more independently and participate in the workforce.
Access to technology plays an increasingly important role in these efforts. The donation of laptops and computers will support the development of digital literacy, enable access to online learning resources, and enhance long-term career prospects for beneficiaries.
A Continued Commitment to Community Impact
At Signode, sustainability and community support go hand in hand. Donating unused IT equipment not only reduces electronic waste but also creates meaningful opportunities for those who need them most.
We are proud to collaborate with organizations such as the Father Ray Foundation and remains committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to the communities in which it operates.
