Choosing the correct strapping material is essential for load security, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. At Signode, we offer a wide range of strapping solutions including Polypropylene (PP), Polyester (PET), Steel strap, and Paper strap (specifically for corrugated use cases).
We will work to understand the load characteristics to choose the appropriate strapping material. Generally, PP is best for light to medium loads, PET is best for medium to heavy duty loads, and Steel is best for very heavy, rigid loads. The environmental impacts are also to be considered, depending if products should be kept in outdoor storage the solution will be tailored accordingly.

To be combined with the right strapping solution we, provide additional protection to your loads by using edge protection to prevent crushing or strap damage as well as top frames on pallets to improve stacking strength and assist to distribute strapping pressure across the load. Top Frames are useful when strapping fragile, uneven, or compressible loads.
