 High-Strength Tenax® polyester strapping

Since we introduced High-Strength Tenax polyester strapping to the Metals Industry in 1997, it has become an accepted substitute for steel strapping in some applications, including bar and tube bundling and circumferential strapping of flat rolled steel coils. This development, which has revolutionized strapping applications worldwide, improves load integrity, load appearance and operator safety. The unique properties of this material enable it to elongate and recover without breaking, so straps stay tighter than steel strapping on bar and tube bundles that tend to shift and settle after strap application. It's also an ideal strapping material for flat rolled steel coils because it will not scratch fine coil surfaces. High-Strength Tenax is completely recyclable, which reduces packaging waste and saves money on disposal costs.
