In
1990, we were the first strapping manufacturer to introduce a high-strength
polyester substitute for steel strapping High-Strength Tenax.
High-Strength Tenax provides lumber and panel manufacturers with
the strength properties of steel and the performance advantages
of plastic. This development, which has revolutionized strapping
applications worldwide, improves load integrity, load appearance
and operator safety. Approved by the Association of American Railroads
(AAR), 2040 High-Strength Tenax is often recommended as a substitute
for steel strapping up to and including 19.0mm x 0.89mm (3/4" x
.035").
