High-Strength Tenax polyester strapping reduces safety hazards and is easier to dispose of and recycle than steel strapping and wire. As a result, it is the preferred bale packaging material of some of the nation's most influential textile mills.
Utilizing our patented Z-weld seal joint technology, Signode's fully automatic bale strapping system is the first polyester strapping system approved by the National Cotton Council's Bale Packaging Committee.
High-Strength
Tenax is a highly engineered polyester strapping material that
combines the performance properties of both steel and plastic strapping
to form a stronger, more resilient strapping material. It is approved
by the National Cotton Council's Bale Packaging Committee as an
alternative to wire and steel strapping in bale packaging applications.
The unique properties of this material enable it to elongate and
recover without breaking, making it ideal for fiber bales that
compress when pressure is applied and expand when it is released.
Unlike steel strapping, High-Strength Tenax won't rust and stain
fiber bales when exposed to the elements. It is also completely
recyclable, which reduces packaging waste and saves money on disposal
costs. View

Tenax® polyester
strapping
Tenax
polyester strapping is designed for medium to heavy-duty palletizing
and unitizing applications and can be applied by hand tools or
power strapping equipment. This strapping material yields high
break strengths and maintains a high level of retained strap tension
for maximum load stability. It is commonly used to unitize yarn
packages and secure waste bales. View
