GLENVIEW, ILLINOIS — Signode Packaging Systems
introduces the LB-Newspaper automatic strapping machine, designed
specifically for newspapers. Crafted with the operator in mind,
the LB-Newspaper is loaded with innovative features, making it
the industry's most reliable bundler as well as the easiest to
operate and service.
The LB-Newspaper boasts the fastest feeding, take-up
speed and cycle time in the industry, strapping up to 48 bundles
per minute to accommodate production flow from high-speed stackers.
Features such as two-step loading, one-button
control and an out-of-strap detector make the system easy to operate
with minimal operator training. All adjustments can be performed
without the use of wrenches or other tools. Machine covers can be
opened or fully removed, providing complete access to internal parts
for maintenance and service. The LB-Newspaper is also equipped with
self-tracking conveyor belts, which eliminate the need for frequent
adjustments.
Utilizing Signode's jamless technology, the LB-Newspaper
overcomes situations that commonly cause strap jams and misfeeds
in other newspaper strapping machines. While other machines require
operator intervention to remove problematic strap, the LB-Newspaper's
automatic cut-off and refeed feature simply ejects the strap and
cycles a new strap, resulting in less operator involvement and improved
uptime.
