New Automatic Lumber Wrapping System Provides Lumber Load Protection
GLENVIEW, ILLINOIS — Signode Packaging Systems
introduces the new AutoWraptor™, a fully automatic lumber and panel
wrapping machine, a significant improvement over manual lumber
and panel wrapping. The AutoWraptor quickly and efficiently wraps
loads with specially engineered plastic film that forms a tight,
secure protective covering to safeguard loads from the effects
of varying weather conditions.
Capable of wrapping any length lumber packages from five to 24 feet, the AutoWraptor will also automatically accommodate varying package width and heights, including half packs. Most lumber and panel loads can be wrapped in less than one minute.
AutoWraptor film is a fully recyclable, weather resistant elastic plastic with a high degree of stretch for minimum material usage and maximum efficiency. The film is available in custom colors and tints, and can be printed with a company logo.
By eliminating the use of staples, the AutoWraptor helps to reduce the safety concerns that can be associated with manual lumber wrapping. The plastic can be easily removed without the typical time and effort required to pull out the staples on manual lumber wraps.
